Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

The opt-out of sale or sharing: what it applies to at nodu, and how it is honored on this site.

the short version

IRJG Ventures, Inc., the company that operates nodu, does not sell personal information, and does not sell or share sensitive personal information, in any circumstance. No advertising measurement tag runs anywhere on this site today.

The Privacy Policy discloses one narrow exception to the sharing half of that sentence, and it is not yet active: exactly three general pages of this site (the homepage, the habits overview page, and the custom-sessions page) may someday carry an advertising platform's measurement tag, disclosed in the Privacy Policy first. Where that happens, the identifiers and internet-activity information such a tag collects from the visit count as shared with that platform under California law. This page is how you opt out of that sharing, now or then.

what is never sold or shared

Every page of this site about a specific habit carries no third-party ad pixels, no session-replay tools, and no behavioral analytics, and will carry none while the Privacy Policy stands. The same is true of the FAQ page.

Nothing you share with nodu inside the app is ever sold, shared for advertising, or used to advertise to you: not intake answers, not journal text, not session content, and never consumer health data. Those commitments are unconditional, so they need no opt-out, and this page is not what protects them.

how the opt-out works here

The mechanism is the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which browsers and browser extensions that support it send automatically. On this site the signal is honored by suppression at the point of collection: for a visit carrying it, no advertising measurement tag is loaded, and nothing such a signal opts out of is transmitted. A Do Not Track signal is honored the same way here.

Checking this browser for an opt-out signal.

Because no tag currently runs, that suppression has nothing to act on yet. The standard is published ahead of need: if a tag ever begins operating, the Privacy Policy is updated first, and a visit carrying the signal is suppressed from the first day.

exercising rights by email

You can also exercise the opt-out, and every other privacy right, by emailing privacy@trynodu.com. If you have a nodu account, write from the email address tied to it. Response windows, identity verification, and the appeal path are described in § 20 of the Privacy Policy.

Exercising an opt-out never changes what nodu offers you or what it costs.

The complete disclosures are in the Privacy Policy (§§ 14, 18, and 21) and the Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.
